As you know, my shop was selected to be in the first ever UK Etsy Advert.
It was filmed in May and will be shown in the UK tonight on Channel 4 between 8pm and 10pm.
In the meantime, here is a link to some behind the film footage: https://blog.etsy.com/uk/2014/06/11/etsy-uk-tv-ad-first-look/#ooid=twOTY4bjrUFsc7MmY5coi8o5na12lpjK

Corduroy Jackets in colours
Hey there!
I have been working on some new colours in theses cute little corduroy jackets.
They fasten with poppers and are finished with two cute little buttons.
All these colours are available in my Etsy shop.

New Blythe Blouse
I have been buying some plain linen mix fabrics in preparation for making some new Blythe blouses/tops. Here is the first one I ran up earlier today. I will be adding 2 buttons on the front to compliment the white lace and the tonal bow.
I also have this same fabric in green and I plan on making the same style blouse with the same trim.
Stay tuned for more new items next week.

I'm back
Hey All,
It's been sooooo long since I posted anything! For anyone still following me thank you so much!!
I needed to take some time out to really work out what direction I wanted things to take concerning this blog amongst other things. If you have been following me, you will know that I had started to think about perhaps changing the contents of my posts here.
I will be continuing this blog, but to make it worthy of anyone following, I will not only be posting more often but the contents will be much more better thus hopefully ensuring a better read for you.
I think my renewed enthusiasm for blogging is really due to being chosen to be in the first ever UK Etsy advert. We all had an amazing day filming but I think what made it so great was meeting all hanging out with the other super talented and creative Etsy sellers that were also chosen.
Details on when it will be aired to follow.
In the meantime, here is the contents of the goody bag we were given, minus the sweet treats which were long gone!
Have a great day. X

Not an apology.....an update
Wow, it's been a long time - well over a year since my last post on here!
I won't apologise again - I've done that too many times but I will say that I am now ready to blog again - and yes, I know I've said that before too! However, this time I really do think I will stick to making regular posts.
What's changed? Well firstly my little one is now almost 2 years old! Oh yes, time flies...he is really doing well. We have a great 'routine' now and I am more settled in my role as first time mum.
Workwise, since I was made redundant and then getting pregnant almost immediately after, you know I have been working from home. This continued up until I had my son. I then took some time out and I am now back to freelance designing and sewing wedding dresses, bridesmaids, flower girl and evening dresses.
I still have my Etsy shop and I have also been working on making items so my shop is nice and full for the coming holiday season. In fact I have decided to dedicate one day a week - namely Wednesdays (because my son isn't at playgroup that day), to work on my Etsy shop. It has unfortunately been neglected for such a long time , even I'm surprised I have managed to get some sales despite this!
I hope to post new item previews on here as I make them - much like I was doing before but on a more regular basis.
That's all for now, stay blessed and have a great evening! X
